Nautilus Consulting Limited is a digital healthcare consulting company that specialises in helping our customers to exploit information technology as an enabler for change. We provide a wide range of services that assist our customers from vision setting though to options appraisal, system selection implementation and optimisation.

We have continued to do well through the recent difficult period and are looking for a Project Developer to join the team. The Project Developer will report into the Technical Lead and will be responsible fin the main for daily optimisation, modifications, internal support, administration of the customer’s databases.

The Project Developer will also provide internal support and services to other teams within Nautilus. The 835 developer must be a self-starter and able to manage their time appropriately based on priorities.

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Product Development in accordance with deliverables and requirements.
• Product enhancements in line with the roadmap.
• Administration of the product deployments.
• Maintaining our customers’ deployed products through required support and maintenance
• Implementation of the product at customer sites.
• Feeding any enhancements and changes due to customer customization back to the product manager and technical lead.
• Business Analysis of new requirements as well as impact analyses of changes requested by clients.
• Providing internal Business Intelligence & Data Analytics services.

Required skills:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Software Development role using Microsoft based products – Ideally within the NHS/Healthcare sectors.
• Microsoft T-SQL and SSIS.
• Business analysis skills to debug logic issues within data flows and stored procedures and for customisation of existing logic.
• Experience in writing SQL server stored procedures.
• Experience in data modelling.
• Experience using SQL Server 2008 onwards and comfortable with handling complex queries.
